What a proper tiling job actually involves
Most tiling failures are not tiling failures at all — they are preparation failures. Before a single tile is set we check the substrate is sound, flat and dry, prime where needed, and tank any area that will get wet. Movement joints go where they are supposed to go. Adhesive is mixed to the manufacturer's ratio and applied solid-bed under floor tiles so there are no voids to crack under load.
Materials we work with
Porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, marble, terrazzo, mosaic, metro, encaustic, terracotta and large-format slabs up to 3200mm. We cut on site with wet saws and rail systems, so mitred edges and cut-outs come out clean rather than chipped.
