Swimming pool and spa tiling
A tiled pool is a permanently submerged, chemically loaded, constantly moving structure — nothing else in tiling is less forgiving. We tile private and commercial pools, spas, hydrotherapy pools and surrounds, working to the pool manufacturer's and adhesive manufacturer's specifications throughout.

Waterproofing the shell
Tiles and grout are not the waterproof layer. The concrete shell is rendered and levelled, then tanked with a cementitious waterproof system dressed into every inlet, light housing and drain before a single sheet of mosaic goes on.
Pool-rated materials only
Submerged tiling needs an S1 or S2 flexible, pool-classified adhesive and an epoxy grout that resists chlorine, salt-chlorination, ozone treatment and daily cleaning chemicals. Standard wall-tile adhesive and cement grout fail in a pool, usually within a season.
Waterline, steps and movement joints
The waterline band takes the worst of the chemical attack and is the first thing anyone looks at, so it is set out dead level around the whole tank. Step nosings get an anti-slip detail, and movement joints are carried through the tiling where the structure demands them rather than tiled over.
Filling and commissioning
Epoxy grout and the tanking system both need their full cure before the pool is filled, and the first fill should be slow and even. We give a written sequence at handover so the installation is not compromised on day one.
