Tiling service
Walk-in wet rooms, properly tanked
A wet room is a waterproofing job with tiles on top. Done right it is the most usable bathroom you can build; done wrong it leaks into the ceiling below within a year.
What we cover
- Full tanking to walls and floor before tiling
- Graded former trays for level-access showers
- Linear and point drainage options
- Large-format porcelain with minimal grout lines
- Anti-slip floor finishes suitable for barefoot use
Tanking is not optional
We apply a liquid or matting tank system across the whole shower zone and up the walls, dressing it into the drain flange with the manufacturer's collars. Board joints and internal corners get taped. Only then does a tile go on.
Getting the fall right
We use pre-formed graded trays rather than screeding a fall by eye. The result is water that reaches the drain from every point in the shower area, with no standing puddles.
Accessible bathrooms
Level-access wet rooms are the most practical solution for reduced mobility. We work with occupational therapists' specifications, fitting anti-slip flooring and leaving clear turning space and grab-rail fixings behind the tiles.
